missed a scheduled event.. this is the result...

OH my gosh dear friends... This morning I had the worst experience in my life and of course, I have to blog about it.

It started a week ago... I was vacuuming my living room and my vacuum pretty much died. I tried to fix it.. to no avail. So, I have been living with no vacuum for about a week. I have 4 children, daycare, and a dog. I do have a very small little vacuum thing that is about 20 years old. lol and I have been using that as much as possible. But that doesn't clean much. just surface cleaning, barely. K, so 3 days ago I was playing Basketball and my back started to hurt really really bad. I finished the game and that was the last physical activity of any kind that I have had for 3 days. I haven't cleaned my house, I haven't put away laundry, I haven't done dishes, I barely got my kids to school this morning. I finally got out of bed about 930 and slowly make it to the shower... I get out of the shower and my son says to me.. Jeff called. JEFF?? who's that?? About 1 min. later the phone rings and at that exact moment I see out of my bedroom window a strange man in the backyard, with a tape measure, and I remember.. THAT'S JEFF!!!! See, we are trying to re-fi our house right now and BofA sent out an appraiser.. JEFF! UGH. I quickly threw on what was closest to my hands... my pajamas... and ran out side to see if I could find him. He was just coming around the corner and says, HI, I need to see the inside of your house. I about died. The inside of MY HOUSE??? does he know that I have been incapacitated for the better part of this week and that my vacuum broke???

So, instead of telling you about my complete embarassment and total lack of preparation.. I would like to just show you.
I hope you enjoy and remember.. if your back is out, CALL A MAID!!!!!

What's funniest about this is that Hannah's room is the cleanest. Normally it's quite opposite.
On a side note, by the looks of these pictures... we look so White Trash.

I'm soooo sorry but this is the funniest thing I have EVER seen! I love it. I have totally had these days. I'll have to tell you the story about when our high councel president stopped by after I had had the flu for two days. MY HOUSE WAS DISCUSTING!!!!

the baby wipes on the bathroom floor with toilet paper hanging out of the trash can takes the cake!!!! that was by FAR the most embarassing room.. and yes, Hannah's room was actually clean! Her room is usually the worst and she had the ONE clean room in the WHOLE STINKIN HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is soo funny! Well, don't worry about it! When I was pregnant, I had the help of my visiting teachers and the sister-missionaries for cleaning and Í always was kinda embarressed too, because my house is not the cleanest anyway and when you feel sick so much, you don't do much either. In Spain they usually have their houses clean like museums like I'd say and you can't touch anything. Oh well!

Oh come on, it isn't that bad! You women freak out way to much about this stuff. When reading the story i thought you were going to say you forgot to put a shirt or bra on or something. You will probably never see the guy again. Oh and Jamie never lets our house get dirty, its always spotless. :) that confession was just so Jamie cant find a way to get mad at me.

Vicki, that's so embarrassing. I can't believe you let your house get like that. I would of died and then rolled over in my grave.

j/k, our house can get messed up in 5.2 seconds. I can turn around and the kids will have it so messed up. Doesn't the saying go, "shoveling snow in a blizzard"? It tires me out.

hahaha! tricia.. but did you LOOK at michaels bedroom! holy shizzle.. even the TV was turned over on the ground.. I dont think that is where TV's belong?!!!?

but yes, cleaning your house is like shoveling your driveway in a blizzard. exactly. =) the kids are excited to come down and see you guys! have fun with them =)

Oh my gosh Vicki, I just totally had the same experience. Some lady came to buy something off cragslist with her 2 year old daughter and she followed that girl all over my house and yesterday was Sunday so I don't do any cleaning so of course my house was a disaster!!! Dishes and Laundry all over the place and toys and shoes and crumbs! OIY!

My house is like that on a daily basis. The important thing is to make sure it doesn't get documented.
